Taste of Kitsap
The Taste of Kitsap is a three-hour sampling extravaganza tucked within the Memorial Day weekend event on Washington State’s Kitsap Peninsula called Kitsap Harbor Festival. Check it out at the Port Orchard’s Marina Park on May 30, 2010, between noon and 4 p.m. Local restaurants and caterers will have booths set up with food items to purchase from $1 to $5 each.
Festival events take place on the waterfronts of both Bremerton and Port Orchard (two towns on Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula) and will include tall ships, a farmers markets, Seagull Calling Festival, sailing regatta, music, beer gardens and a boat show.
If you get there early, Road Trips Foodies, be sure to stop by the pancake breakfast on the Bremerton boardwalk. It’ll be served up by the Bremerton Lions Club between 7 and 10:30 a.m. May 29, 2010. The next day, the 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. pancake breakfast May 30, 2010, takes place at Amy’s on the Bay in Port Orchard, benefitting the South Kitsap Helpline.
The Port Orchard Farmers Market, located at Marina Park in Port Orchard is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every saturday through October 9, 2010.
The Kitsap Harbor Festival is coordinated by the Port of Bremerton at both the Port Orchard and the Bremerton Marinas.
