National Public Gardens Day
Wherever you find yourself tomorrow (May 7, 2010), Road Trips Gardeners, you’ll probably find a public garden. And tomorrow is National Public Gardens Day!
The American Public Gardens Association designates the day to raise awareness of America’s public gardens and their important role in promoting environmental stewardship and education, plant and water conservation, and education in communities nationwide. Founded in 1940, Delaware-based American Public Gardens Association is an organization devoted to strengthening the public gardens throughout North America.
