Cultural Conversations

Ever fancied getting more out of blogging, twitter, and other social media platforms or sharing some of your success with those less clued up?

At The Culture Vulture we are passionate about hearing about the stuff that delights people about the places they live in and the stuff they do, it’s what our readers enjoy too. We’ve noticed though that there aren’t scores of people currently at it, and it made us wonder why…

We also recognise that for some this social stuff is as natural as breathing, for other’s it’s a leap into the unknown

So we’ve decided to host a series of informal, informative ‘conversation’s at our base at Templeworks, bringing together a host of people who know techie stuff, engagement, story telling, getting on search engines, playful games etc alongside those with a thirst to learn more?

Which are you? Get in contact if you have the want to either learn more practical hands on stuff, or if you feel you could share some of your hard learnt know how. Enthusiasm counts for more than being an expert, this is a conversation after all!

Our first conversation has a few people already raring to share!

Richard Michie who has offered to share his understanding of Search Engine Optimisation, social marketing, Google Analytics, branding and finding your niche and sticking to it.

Phil Kirby loves to spin a yarn and wants to enthuse you would be writers about sharing the stuff you are passionate about (if you are snarky don’t bother!)

Emma Bearman is a nosy old boot, a lover of Twitter and social media, heaps of do’s and don’ts

Monica Tailor & Matt Seward are passionate about all things Internet and have spent the past 15 years helping clients get the most from what the Internet offers. When they’re not working with it, they’re playing, writing or talking about it. Day to day they design, build and market businesses and ideas on the Internet.

  1. Sounds like a wonderful aperitif to England v Algeria kick off at 7.30.

Count me in. Not a techy but a user who has learned from experience. Happy to give and take….

  2. My family keep chivvying me along into the social media arena to use for work but I am moving very slowly – have the website, the blog, the twitter account but I am not really using them – bit of a technophobe really – but would like to be dragged into the 21st century without too much kicking and screaming – almost a shyness of it all really, so I would like to come along please!

  3. Thanks a lot for offering all people an very special opportunity to uncover critical secrets from this website. It definitely is extremely sweet plus jam-full of a good deal of exciting for me and my workplace friends to seek your website virtually thrice per weeks time to read the contemporary secrets you have obtained. Not surprisingly, I’m also generally contented with all of the astonishing solutions served by you. Sure several guidelines in such a posting are without a doubt the finest we’ve got all had.
