A First, Brief Look At Guitar Hero 6

Here, courtesy of music magazine Kerrang, is our first real look at footage from the upcoming Guitar Hero 6.

Well, it's your first look at some pre-rendered scenes showing the series' trademark characters turning into monsters of rock. No real gameplay footage to be seen, but then, it's Guitar Hero. You know what you're getting yourself in for.

It's a brave attempt at something new from Neversoft, something Guitar Hero needed a game or two ago, but you have to wonder whether it'll be enough to overcome gamer's growing apathy towards the "plastic instrument" genre.
