Which TVLine Items have you talking today?
Pierce Gagnon was one of the highlights of the last season of OTH, he lit up the screen and had great chemistry with Robert Buckley and shantal vansanten, and now he’s costarring with Halle berry!!
Who did he play?
Logan, Clays son
He was adorable on OTH.
He was actually dreadful in OTH, a terrible actor (and that’s saying something, considering he was playing most of his scenes against Buckley, who’s not a good actor in any way). To be fair, I think the writing for his character didn’t help the young actor at all, as the plot was ridiculous. He was a lot better in Looper, that’s for sure (but still, only as good as child actors can go).
Oh my god.
1. Are you really going to call a six-year-old “dreadful”? That’s so incredibly harsh. Why do child actors become crackheads and recluses? Probably because of this kind of pressure you’re putting on them. Jeez.
2. Half of One Tree Hill’s plot lines were ridiculous, but that’s what true fans loved the show.
3. I thought he was incredibly adorable.
I wonder if Sean will have any scenes with his Firefly sister, Summer Glau?
You remind me of what a great cast they had on Firefly, and that just about all of them have had steady work ever since. Fillion is Castle. Torres is a lead on Suits. Tudyk is on Suburgatory. Baccarin is on Homeland. Staite was in 5 episodes of The Killing, and even old Ron Glass just had a gig on both Major Crimes and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
tudyk isnt on suburgatory anymore.
I thought that though no longer a main cast credit, he is recurring. A demotion over cast salary/cost issues. No?
I really hope so, I think it would be a HUGE nod to the Browncoats
Isn’t the Dr Brennan of theoretical physics pretty much Sheldon Cooper?? Ha
Richard Schiff might be better able to pull off the chunky necklace look than Sheldon could (he’s a little too thin for that).
nope, brennan is way less annoying than sheldon.
Bazinga!!!!
I was thinking the same thing
The possibility of more Super Fun Night is scary. I’m happy for Back In The Game though!
I love the Arrow news! The CW should keep up with this new trend of Whedon friends on their shows (Tahmoh on Supernatural, Summer and Sean on Arrow, etc).
Also can’t wait to see Pierce back on my screen. That kid has serious talent.
Yay for Jill Marie Jones on “Sleepy Hollow” – looking forward to that!
AH! I’ve missed Sean Maher on my TV. This is exciting!
Hope to be seeing a Simon River reunion on arrow!
sean maher looks like Stephen amell and the guy that played tommy mixed together…… never noticed it before
Halle Berry on a TV show… Score that one a miss for me… I only stomached her in X-Men because everyone else was exceptional. She drags up the race card in her Oscar speech, even Denzel said he hoped that the following year would be about talent and not an actors ethnicity to ensure a win… Then there is the matter of that Hit & Rin DUI several years ago… The beginning of the Lindsay Lohan School of Law. Halle just doesn’t impress me!
How has Super Fun Night not been canceled?
Cause it’s Super. Fun. NOT. I mean NIGHT. NIGHT!
Tam sibling reunion! Hooray!
no mention of david nykl (dr zelenka in stargate atlantis) being cast as kgbeast? seems like the perfect article to drop that in there, especially considering we already know oliver has a connection to him.
Man I love Sean Maher. Excited to see him on Arrow. Especially in a villainous role!
And hopefully in a scene with his “Firefly” sister Summer Glau !
Toby Ziegler, expert physicist? I like it.
Yay! Haven’t seen much of him since Firefly, excited for his appearance!
