Final Fantasy Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura has let slip that Square Enix’s forthcoming Fabula Nova Crystallis press event next year will feature “other surprises” aside from a fresh look at both Versus and Agito XIII.
The press conference – dubbed Fabula – is scheduled for January 11, 2011, and will give fans their first proper look at the eagerly anticipated PS3 & PSP exclusives after a lengthy hiatus from the public eye.
“There are Dissidia characters we will announce at the conference, and we also have a number of other surprises,” said Nomura, during an interview with this week’s issue of Famitsu.
Apparently, things have been so quiet on the Versus XIII front as a result of the development team wanting to give the game a proper re-reveal at the Fabula presser, hence why nothing was shown on the game at previous industry events such as E3 and GamesCom.
