New Dynasty Warriors Is For "PS3 Only"

Koei Tecmo's long running hack-and-slash franchise Dynasty Warriors gets a new entry next spring, Dynasty Warriors 7.

At a press event attended by Kotaku Japan in Tokyo, Shin Sangoku Musou 6 was made official and dated for March 2011. It is currently only for the PS3 and is 3D compatible.

In the West, the Shin Sangoku Musou (Dynasty Warriors) are numbered ahead of their Japanese counterparts, because Shin Sangoku Musou was localized as Dynasty Warriors 2 in the West.

New characters include Sima Shi, Sima Zhao and Bao Sanniang.

Dynasty Warriors 6 was released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
