NBA free agency 2015 live updates: Kevin Love staying with Cavaliers; Paul Pierce joining Clippers

The 2015 NBA free agency period kicked off with a flurry of activity late Tuesday night with forward Al-Farouq Aminu agreeing to a four-year, $30 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, while LaMarcus Aldridge's courting process began with the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets.

Here's a look at some of today's top headlines:

Paul Pierce is reuniting with Doc Rivers in Los Angeles, reportedly agreeing to a three-year, $10 million deal with the Clippers (Yahoo Sports)

- Draymond Green is getting a big raise while staying with the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, agreeing on a reported five-year, $85 million deal (Yahoo Sports)

- Kevin Love, who opted out last week, announced on Wednesday that he'll remain in Cleveland, accepting a five-year, $110 million dollar extension with the Cavaliers (ESPN). The Cavaliers are also reportedly nearing a deal that will keep restricted free agent forward Tristan Thompson with the team for another five years for $80 million (ESPN) and have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $40 million deal with guard Iman Shumpert (CBSSports.com).

- Free agent center Tyson Chandler will be joining the Phoenix Suns, reportedly agreeing to a four-year deal worth $52 million with Phoenix (ESPN).

- Free agent wing Danny Green and the San Antonio Spurs have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $45 million deal (ESPN). After locking up Green, the Spurs have traded center Tiago Splitter to the Atlanta Hawks to clear space for an attempted run at Aldridge (Yahoo Sports).

- Free agent center Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies are reportedly working on details of a new contract (NBA.com).

Damian Lillard and the Blazers are nearing a five-year max extension, reportedly worth $120 million (ESPN).

Anthony Davis agreed to a five-year max extension with the New Orleans Pelicans worth over $140 million beginning in 2016-17 (AP).
