Where to find your favorite food trucks this week

RALEIGH, N.C. — On Friday, a Korean Food Truck showdown will occur between BulKogi, Hanu and Mixed Korean at Duraleigh Korean Presbyterian Church, 5408 Duraleigh Road, from 6-8 p.m.

Also on Friday, catch some food trucks at the Warehouse Blues Series featuring Jarekus Singleton at Durham Central Park starting. The event is 5:30-7:30 p.m. and will also include local craft beer. Bull City Burger and Brewery, The Parlour, Only Burger and Pie Pushers will be on hand.

On Saturday, Valentino’s will celebrate 5 years in business. The event will take place at Lonerider Brewing with live music, a special keg tapping, and pale ale popper and cannoli eating contest. Event starts at 4 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Taylor’s Wine Shop, 10005 Six Forks Road, will have Cousins Maine Lobster and JAM Ice Cream for a Parking Lot Party. They will pour beers from Charlotte’s Unknown Brewing and Raleigh’s Larry Beans coffee.

The South American Tapas truck, Kocina, is opening a grill location in Raleigh near Rex Hospital. They are also doing a Kickstarter to help with some of financial needs.

Also in retail news, SweetWater Ices' cherry and lemon flavors will be available in Randy’s Pizza Raleigh, 2458 Wycliff Road.

Lastly, for fans who are traveling to Morehead City, you will notice the old Bojangles location transforming into a Dank Burrito restaurant. Dank Burrito won last year’s Mobile-Cuisine Rookie of the Year food truck competition and participant in past Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo.
