L.A. Noire getting new trailer this week

Rockstar has confirmed that it plans to unveil an all-new trailer for its long-delayed detective romp L.A. Noire this Thursday.

Dubbed ‘the first trailer,’ the footage will appear online on November 11 at approximately 12.00pm EST/5.00pm GMT.

Announced back in 2005, L.A. Noire was first billed as a PlayStation 3 exclusive before Rockstar later confirmed that it’d also be appearing on Xbox 360. After dropping off the radar following 2006’s debut trailer, it later emerged the title had been pushed back to "the first half of calendar 2011".

Developed by Team Bondi, L.A. Noire transports players to the gritty, crime-ridden streets of 1940s Los Angeles where you’ll be hopping in to the shoes of fellow LAPD copper, Cole Phelps. The game boasts a highly sophisticated motion-capture system that will prove central to the interrogation mechanic used throughout gameplay, allowing you to spot when a suspect is withholding info by scrutinizing their facial expressions.

Look out for the new trailer this Thursday.
