Lightbox teases its next PlayStation project

Lightbox Interactive has revealed it’s still busy hammering away on its next PlayStation-related project, though isn’t about ready to lift the lid on the mystery title just yet.

Writing on Twitter, company president Dylan Jobe acknowledged that fans are eager to clap eyes on the game – rumored to be named Starhawk – though promised it’ll be worth the wait.

"Last couple weeks have been spent cranking on builds for Sony," he teased. "Lots of good play-tests and game improvements.

"Keeping the new game under wraps for this long is tough, and very hard on our fans. But will be worth it all in the end!!

Still, when the time comes to finally unveil the title, Jobe at least indicated fans can expect a proper in-game trailer as opposed to pre-rendered footage.

"Fans deserve real game footage and not a BS pre-rendered trailer. That’s tricky ’cause pre-rendered trailers are much ‘safer’ to do."

"But all the investment and time in the game itself is ultimately the right direction. For the product *and* for the fans!"

Lightbox was cobbled together by former Incognito devs back in 2009, and later signed a multi-year, multi-game deal with Sony America to churn out games for PlayStation consoles. Starhawk was trademarked by SCEA during that same year.
