Uematsu composing music for The Last Story

It's been revealed that famous composer Nobuo Uematsu will be scoring the music for The Last Story.

The reveal is made in the latest episode of Iwata Asks for the Nintendo website alongside Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and Mistwalker boss Hironobu Sakaguchi.

Sakaguchi and Uematsu worked together on the Final Fantasu series for Square Enix until both men left the company in 2004. Uematsu still composes some music for Final Fantasy as a freelancer, though.

It was revealed this morning the RPG would get a special Wii hardware bundle as well as a special limited edition when it releases in Japan on January 27.
