Media Week is reporting that the folks at Channel Five are currently in talks with Sony in an effort to bring the broadcaster’s Demand Five service to PlayStation 3.
For those unaware, Demand Five offers a catch-up service in the same vein as the BBC’s iPlayer, allowing viewers to keep up to date with a variety of Channel Five offerings such as the likes of CSI and Neighbours.
As it stands PS3 owners can already view the service via the console’s web browser, but Five is apparently keen on launching a branded application for the platform in order to attract a bigger audience.
Channel 4 is also supposedly in talks about bringing its 4oD service to PS3 at some point in the near future.
