Geoff Keighley dropped a Chimera-shaped bombshell on Twitter earlier today confirming that the upcoming 2010 Spike Video Game Awards will play host to the first gameplay footage of Resistance 3.
Other titles due to share the spotlight with the Insomniac shooter include Batman: Arkham City, BioWare’s new game, and a zombie-themed offering which may or may not be the new Resident Evil title supposedly in the works over at Slant Six Games.
The awards take place on December 11 and will be followed by a special Sony PS3-exclusive reveal the next day, which is heavily rumored to be none other than Uncharted 3.
