Mariachi fire victims get help from Red Cross



A house fire last week in Boyle Heights claimed all of the musical instruments and clothing of 19 mariachi musicians. On Friday night, a benefit at Mariachi Plaza on 1st Street raised some money. The American Red Cross is handling the brunt of the players' needs, as this video by former L.A. Times photographer (and Red Cross volunteer) Bob Carey shows.
