Suburban Metal Dad is a new comic strip I’m writing. And drawing. It’s reality-based stories about life in the 10th circle, where middle managers and other morons have dominion.
Essentially, Suburban Metal Dad is me warming up for couple unrelated projects I’m developing: a comic book and a picture book.
It’s been some time since I did any creative writing. And I never wrote anything for a visual medium before. So by banging out these sketches, I’m building up my chops for some bigger and better stuff. Essentially, you’re reading my demos. And I appreciate you doing so.
Suburban Metal Dad kicks off with daily strips that will run Monday through Friday for the next three weeks, through the end of the year. After the holidays, we’ll go to one or two per week. Whichever frequency we choose, it will be regular. I have at least a year worth of bullshit lined up for you.
No, I don’t think I’ll draw the next projects. Yes, I know I have the spatial skills of a 5 year old. No, future strips will not be drawn on recycled paper.

Can you recycle all products marked with a plastic number?
Yes and no. While all plastics marked with a number can be recycled, not every facility can process them. In fact, most recycling centers will only take type 1 and type 2 plastics.
