It was back in mid-May that Lincoln standout defensive tackle Diasjon Robinson committed to the University of Massachusetts.

When he did pull the trigger and gave his verbal, UMass was his lone offer.

Since then, however, more recruiting attention has come his way. According to Lincoln head coach Robert Hampton, Robinson has added offers from Delaware, Buffalo and Old Dominion.

In addition to his four offers, Robinson is also receiving interest from Iowa, Temple and Towson State.

The 6-1, 275-pound senior, who is an honor student and President of the Honor Society, is the heart and soul of the Lions’ defensive line. He also starts on the offensive line. As a junior last season, Robinson recorded 93 tackles (17.5 for loss) and two sacks. Through three games in 2014, Robinson has 18 tackles (three for loss) and one fumble recovery.

Lincoln is a perfect 3-0 this season. They face a monster challenge, this weekend, though, heading to Union City at 7 p.m. on Friday night to take on the No. 18 Soaring Eagles.
