Homefront London is possible, says dev

Developer Kaos has teased that Homefront could make the transition to good ‘ol Blighty at some point in the future, stating a London-themed entry in the series is a possibility.

Chatting with CVG, community head Jeremy Greiner commented, “This isn’t an American flag waver. It’s really important to us that people all over the world can identify with the themes of occupation.

“We’re not interested in triggering American patriotism. Hopefully those themes will be universal."

“So absolutely, we could do a Homefront London. We’ve even joked on our Twitter that we could do a Homefront Reykjavik. We can do anything.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the only chatter we’ve heard on a possible UK-based outing, with THQ’s Danny Bilson previously mentioning back at E3 2010 that the studio is working on a Homefront title set in London.

As for Homefront itself, the game hits North America for PS3, PC and 360 on March 8, with a UK release arriving on March 11. A sequel’s already in the pipeline, with the game supposedly taking place “on the other side of the Mississippi.”
