PAIRINGS SET FOR 2011 VIRGINIA 529 COLLEGE SAVINGS PLAN CAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

RICHMOND, Va. (March 2, 2011) - The pairings are set for the 2011
Virginia 529 College Savings Plan CAA Women's Basketball Championship, which
will be held March 10-13 at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md.
First round action tips off at Noon on Thursday as #8 George Mason
takes on #9 Georgia State. At 2:30 p.m.,
#5 Hofstra meets #12 William & Mary.
Beginning at 5 p.m., #7 Delaware will play #10 Northeastern, followed by
#6 Drexel versus #11 Towson at 7:30 p.m.
In Friday's quarterfinals, top-seeded James Madison will face the George
Mason/Georgia State winner at Noon, while #4 VCU takes on the Hofstra/William
& Mary victor at 2:30 p.m. In the 5 p.m. contest, #2 Old Dominion goes
against the Delaware/Northeastern winner, followed by #3 UNC Wilmington versus
the Drexel/Towson victor 7:30 p.m.
The semifinals are set for Noon and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the
championship game taking place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13.
All 11 games of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship will be
available via various multimedia platforms.
Thursday's first-round games and Friday's quarterfinal contests will be
webstreamed on CAASports.com. Both
semifinal games on Saturday will be televised by The Comcast Network and other
CAA television affiliates. Comcast SportsNet will televise the CAA championship
