Need a cheap, late lunch? Super Duper is giving away burgers from 2 to 3 p.m. as part of their one-year anniversary. 2304 Market St.

Also, 30 celebrity and central coast chefs are gathering at the four-day Pebble Beach Food & Wine at Pebble Beach Resorts. Jacques Pépin, Yigit Pura, Tom Colicchio, Charlie Trotter, and Tyler Florence will be doing demos, leading wine tastings, and cooking for a crowd (about 6,000 attendees are expected). The main events include The Delicacy Dinner at Club XIX and the Saturday Grand Tasting, as well as a golf tournament and some serious after parties. A la carte tickets to the events start at $100. 

Saturday, April 30

There's an all-day brew cruise starting bright and early. Craft Beer Tours will be visiting Social Kitchen & Brewery and Lagunitas, as well as two up-and-comers, Beltane Brewing and Van Houten Brewing Company, that are so small, they're known as nanos in the microbrew world. For $85, a bus will pick you up at the Glen Park BART station at 9:30 a.m., so you can leave your car keys at home. 

Also, Locanda, the new Roman restaurant from Craig and Annie Stoll of Delfina, opens at 5:30pm. It's a pasta-centric menu based on local and seasonal ingredients—and another jewel on Valencia's restaurant strip. 557 Valencia St.

Sunday, May 1

The second annual Chinatown and North Beach Noodle Fest ($20 for an advance passport here) puts three noodle offerings from Chinatown alongside three pastas from North Beach on your plate. From 1 to 5 p.m., there will be 30 restaurants to choose from and noodle-making demos. Grant Avenue between Pacific and Vallejo streets

Thursday, May 5

Tacolicious (co-owned by 7x7 senior editor Sara Deseran) is putting on Hecho en San Francisco benefit on Cinco de Mayo for La Cocina and CUESA with a smorgasbord from 10 SF Mexican restaurants, including La Palma Mexicatessen, La Torta Gorda, and Rancho Gordo, and food entrepreneurs from La Cocina. Expect from tequila makers Herradura, El Jimador, Don Julio, and Tres Agaves, Victoria and Corona Familiar beers, and wines from Urbanite Cellars and Caliberico. The benefit goes from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and you can buy tickets ($50) here.
