Product description
This recall involves 13 styles of Heimess brand pacifier holders. The pacifier holders have a wooden button with two ventilation holes on a metal clip with a flat opener. Only the pacifier holder models included in this notice and that have flat clip openers, are involved in this recall. Angular clip openers are not affected by the recall.

Hazard identified
The wooden button may detach from the metal safety clip and present a choking hazard for young children.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
Bebenuk Inc. has received six reports of the button detaching.

Number sold
Approximately 650 pacifier holders were sold in Canada in specialty stores for children.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from February 2015 to March 2016.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifier holders away from children and contact their retailer and/or Bebenuk, Inc. for an exchange.
