Giulianelli: EXCLUSIVE - Chelsea want Handanovic & Asamoah; Mou & Wenger fight for Isco

I won't start my column with compliments for Claudio Ranieri and his Leicester City after a masterwork that will remain carved into the story of football and of sport in general, because I've already done it many times in this column, as you know.

But I will give you some transfers news, with a market that is already in play and the main European Leagues reaching their finales.

Let's start with a rumble. As you now know, Antonio Conte has recently given his permission to the sale of Thibaut Courtois at Chelsea - and I can reveal he has decided who will take his place, Samir Handanovic, a Slovenian, born in 1982, from Inter Milan.

The offer will be about £10 million to take one of the most reliable goalkeepers in all of Europe. And where will go the young Belgian No1? Liverpool could be the right answer...

ASAMOAH JOINS RUDIGER ON CONTE WANTED LIST

Another two names for the Blues, another two names coming from Serie A: the first one is Antonio Rüdiger, who's playing with Roma on loan from Stuttgart, a centre back. The second one is the midfielder from Ghana, Juventus player, Kwadwo Asamoah.

Roma seem to have already found an important name if Rüdiger leaves the Italian capital: the returning Medhi Benatia from Bayern Munich. The amount of the offer from Roma should be €6 million for the loan plus €16 million for the permanent deal.

And Roma, who are very active, are very close to taking even Martin Caceres from Juventus.

MOURINHO TO WRECK WENGER ISCO PLANS

Jose Mourinho hasn't yet signed a contract with Manchester United, but is already working hard, together with Jorge Mendes, to build an invincible team.

Gonzalo Higuain, of Napoli, is the striker he wants to bring to Old Trafford and even Isco from Real Madrid.

I can tell you, there's a sort of agreement between Real and Arsenal to sit down at the table in the summer, but the appeal of the Special One could convince the young Spanish player to join the Red Devils. Another name for Mou's midfield is from the new champions of England, the French midfielder N'Golo Kanté.
