Rockstar’s eagerly-anticipated L.A. Noire has been slapped with an 18+ certificate by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
The ratings body notes that the Team Bondi-developed thriller made it through the process with no cuts, and features approximately five hours and 12 minutes worth of cut-scenes.
Furthermore, the BBFC added that L.A. Noire also offers an additional three hours, 25 minutes of ‘supplementary gameplay footage.’
As you’d expect from an 18-rated product, the game is jam-packed with adult-orientated content, including plenty of bad language, violence, sex references and nudity.
L.A. Noire will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the U.K. on May 20, 2011.
