Rumor: Sony Website Source Code Reinforces “PS Vita” Rumors
A few days ago rumors surfaced regarding the final name for Sony’s NGP. The supposed name is Vita, and today further evidence surfaces reinforcing that moniker.
In an event that will surprise few, several computer-savvy folks have managed to procure hidden information from Sony. Buried within Sony’s official E3 website is text hinting that the handheld will be called the PS Vita. Head over to Destructoid for a peak at the suspect HTML.
In a world where we play with devices called Wii, Kinect, and Move, the NGP becoming the Vita doesn’t come as too terribly surprising. Of course, we’ll have to chalk this up as rumor until next week at E3.
