[Update]: Starting The Next Dead Space
[Update]: EA has commented on the Dead Space job listings as work apparently begins on the next Dead Space game.
Unfortunately a representative from the company told us simply that there is "no news at this time."
[Original Story]: Dead Space is a hot franchise for EA, and it looks like work is already beginning on what's next for the series.
EA and internal studio Visceral Games have posted three job openings on Gamasutra – senior development director, audio director, and senior VFX artist – specifically related to the Dead Space franchise. It's no surprise that the wheels are already turning on another Dead Space game, but given that Dead Space 2 came out in January of this year, we wonder when we can expect to see the next game in the series.
And what will it be? Is this Dead Space 3, or possibly some other game related to the universe?
