MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A crash on westbound Interstate 24 blocked traffic at the 10 mile marker for about 45 minutes Tuesday afternoon.  The lanes have reopened.

Matthew Ragsdale, 23, of Paducah was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer traveling westbound on I-24 when it appears the SUV had a tire failure which caused him to lose control about 1:23 p.m.

The vehicle spun, hit a guardrail and then overturned before coming to rest on its driver side in the road, according to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for about 45 minutes while crews worked to clean it up.
