Jaunty Jack O'Lantern Car

Oh I'm so happy to be home here in Halloween Town. I feel like Dorothy's not-so-evil sister Drucilla with my orange sequined slippers on. I have so much I want to share and I really need to get my creative 'Halloween Juices' flowing again. So I'm counting on lots of great posts from everyone. Just over 4 months now, and these are the BEST days....the days of anticipation and planning.

Okay, so the chance that this is old news is high considering I've been MIA for awhile, but I am posting it anyway because it is SO me, and thus it belongs on my blog. So let me begin with a question....would you....could you....do you dare.....to drive around in a Pumpkin Car? I'm not speaking hypothetically here....would you REALLY choose a 'Jack-Mobile' as your vehicle of choice, if said 'gourd car' actually existed? Would you proudly thump down the boulevard displaying your year round love of Halloween for all the world to see?
Well feast your eyes on this perfect 'pumpkin prototype'! The Pumpkin Car was designed by artist Dejan Hristov of Macedonia, and it boasts one bodacious set of 'wicked wheels' for any devout Halloween enthusiast. Of course it's long been my personal belief that the crux of life resides in the details, and this concept car is no exception. You'll note that it of course comes in the brilliant hue of seasonal orange. But check out the other fab features like the triangular door handles, the stem on the roof top (which would be really cool if it were also a moon roof), and those killer jack o'lantern rims and spare tire cover! And as if that weren't enough already....he threw in head lights that reflect the iconic jack o'lantern grin.

YES! How much fun would it be to shine those brights at oncoming cars?! This is a sweet ride that any self respecting Halloween Head should thrill to own. Now if only we could find an automaker to roll this baby off the production line!!! (Artwork and Concepts © Dejan Hristov)
