America was built by entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship fuels the American dream. We are a land of second chances and here in Arizona we have built a community of pioneers who together have built a home in the desert.

But for some, the dream of economic self-sufficiency, let alone having the opportunity to own a business, seems very far away. Here at OTEF, the Opportunity Through Entrepreneurship Foundation, we are working to change that through a community that provides education, mentoring, and support to at risk populations to assist them in becoming economically self sufficient by starting and growing small businesses.

Entrepreneurs understand what it means to start fresh, to need a hand… and to lend one. Since 2005, Arizona entrepreneurs have come together to connect, engage, and to help those who need a hand up.

At OTEF, everything we do has the entrepreneur and our mission in mind. Our fundraising is accomplished via AZEC, the Arizona Entrepreneurship Conferences. Our programs are delivered in conjunction with local communities or local organizations including SEEDS, Tumbleweed, Arizona Job Connections, and SARRC.
