Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Phlebotomists who collect blood specimens from inpatients and outpatients according to established standards and practices. Phlebotomists are responsible for ensuring the quality of the blood specimens taken, delivering specimens for processing and using hospital computer programs to input and retrieve laboratory order information.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Six (6) months of venipuncture experience in a medical environment.
 
AND
 
Certification: Must possess and maintain a current State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT-1 or CPT-2) license with the Department of Public Health.

Desired Qualifications

The department seeks candidates who are able to adapt to changes in assignments/schedules and priorities in a positive manner.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills while working with patients and explaining the phlebotomy process. Prior experience using Meditech is preferred.
