Product description

This recall involves the Valley Sportsman 9.5 Litre Propane Aluminum Fish Fryers with Model Number 2A-CM186 and UPC Code 8680571.

Hazard identified

There is a small hole near the handle which could allow hot cooking oil to drip from the pan, posing a burn hazard to consumers. 

As of December 12, 2018 the company has received no report of incidents in Canada, and no report of injuries.

Number sold

Approximately 2,468 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from December 2016 to October 2018.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return the product to any Princess Auto Ltd. location for a full refund.
