Giulianelli: EXCLUSIVE - Mourinho in Manchester for 23rd; Dzeko close to Liverpool; Arsenal must up Xhaka bid

"A childhood dream that could be fulfilled": this is what Granit Xhaka declared about his more and more likely move to the Premier League. Let's nail down this situation...

The player has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal, now it's up to them to find an agreement on a fee with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Talks are progressing, but still not finalised. I don't think that the clubs will announce it for the next week or two, though. Probably everything will be completed just before Euro 2016.

Arsenal have offered €30m and Borussia Monchengladbach want €40m.

Gladbach are now waiting for a second Gunners bid.

ROMA TO SEND DZEKO TO LIVERPOOL

Roma are ready to offer €8 million plus Antonio Sanabria to Sevilla for the French striker Kevin Gameiro: his features seem to match well the ideal forward Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is seeking.

The other important news is that, if Roma will manage to take Gameiro, Edin Dzeko will leave Italy to find home at Liverpool, on the Reds side of the city.

MOURINHO IN MANCHESTER NEXT WEEK

What about Jose Mourinho? Lot of rumors these days, don't trust the news about Fenerbache as a possible destination. As I've been saying for a long time, Mourinho will be the new Manchester United manager. He is slated to be in Manchester by the 23rd May.

They just have to solve some issues about Mou's staff, like the physical trainer and his deputies. No problems are expected.

HIGUAIN RETHINKING UNITED MOVE

A deal that was almost completed, which could now find some problems in the coming weeks is surrounding Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentinian striker, very close to joining Manchester United, is disappointed by their qualification failure for the Champions League. Napoli's second place in Serie A, with the direct qualification to the most important continental competition, could convince Higuain to change his mind about his decision to leave Napoli for the Red Devils.

And president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who knows well Gonzalo's thoughts, is about to offer him a new contract, with a wage increase of up to €8 million for each season. For the present moment, Higuain is thinking seriously about his future, but the Copa America is around the corner. The final decision will be taken after the continental competition.

Let's see if Napoli, after Diego Maradona, will be able to bewitch forever another world class player.
