Frederick Leighton - SolitudeLightning fast read meant to make you think…

10 Mistakes People Make with Introverts:

1. Think there’s something wrong with them since they want to / would rather be alone (apart from the crowd most of the time).
2. Overlook the potential genetic component (to introversion).
3. Require them to be an extrovert (outgoing).
4. Forget they are the reluctant (and best) leaders (and Christian pastors).
5. (For introverts) Think they know (have the answer for) everything / they’re the smartest in the room.
6. (For introverts) Think they can discern everything (tell what’s going on spiritually and never be wrong).
7. View their tendency towards solitariness as unloving / uncaring.
8. Have it in their heads that introverts just aren’t “socialized” enough.
9. (For introverts) Try to do too much (beyond what a human being could possibly do) / are a workaholic.
10. (For introverts) Don’t have much patience with people (especially extroverts).

BONUS Overlook they are a gift from God just in their attention to detail and ability to excel.
