Why expand nationally when you can fill in tried-and-true food concepts into urban areas that are starving for some attention? Welcome The Point, a huge new retail development opening Summer 2015 on the corner of PCH and Rosecrans in El Segundo. Top billing goes to Superba Food + Bread, Paul Hibler's stylish Venice eatery, which opened last year to much fanfare. This location will also feature all-day service, coffee, a wine bar, and even a marketplace.

In addition, True Food Kitchen, Mendocino Farms, and ShopHouse will all be opening in the Americana-like center, with a large open public space encircled by the various high end retail. North Italia, a traditional Italian restaurant, rounds out the offerings. With over 115,000 square feet of space, the eateries will join retail brands like Athleta, Soul Cycle, Lucky Brand, and No Rest for Bridget.
