The Job


Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Per Diem Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologists who perform CT scans and general diagnostic x-ray procedures. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast and observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions; complete all necessary paperwork; provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection, while providing high quality images and examinations in a fast paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses.

These positions are in the Unclassified Service and serve at the discretion of the appointing authority. Working as a Computerized Tomography Technologist - Per Diem does not preclude you from applying and competing for regular positions within the County. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
 
Work Schedule: Must be available to work rotating shifts to include weekends, nights, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess all of the following:

Certification:
  • CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the  State of California, Department of Public Health
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Venipuncture Certification for contrast media
Registration: 
Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (CT) Radiography Computerized Tomography

Experience:
One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technician performing CT examinations.
