• Promoting fair play and encouraging others to do the same – I understand we play hockey for fun and this is not the Olympics;
• Accepting the decisions of officials and encouraging others to do the same – I understand officials are human and can make mistakes too;
• Thinking before I speak and keeping my emotions in check and encouraging others to do the same – I understand it is never ok to direct offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour at officials
• Thanking officials, and encouraging others to do the same – I understand officials volunteer their time and effort
