**NEW** Medical Imaging Specialty DifferentialCT Technologists* who possess and maintain licensed/certifications required to provide care to patients in both the MRI and CT units, and who make themselves available to work in those units, shall receive a differential of five percent (5.00%) above their base hourly rate for all hours actually worked (i.e., REG hours), up to their standard hours per pay period.
 

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for CT Technologists* who perform CT scans. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast and observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions; complete all necessary paperwork; provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection, while providing high quality images and examinations in a fast paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses.

 THE DEPARTMENT
 
ARMC which is owned and operated by the County of San Bernardino, is a state-of-the art 456 bed university affiliated teaching medical center featuring the newest in technology in the field of patient care. ARMC, is host to six (6) Medical Surgical and six (6) Telemetry units providing care to a diverse patient population, a 24-hour Emergency Department providing more than 90,000 annual visits, Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons and a Regional Burn Center. Services also include Behavioral Health, Outpatient Specialty Clinics, Primary Care Family Health Centers, a certified Primary Stroke Center and Baby Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA with over 2800 births annually. The Neonatal Intensive Care is a 30 bed Community California Children's certified unit.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
 
Work Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, nights, holidays, and on-call.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess all of the following:

Certification:
  • Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the  State of California, Department of Public Health
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Venipuncture Certification for contrast media
Registration:
  • Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computerized Tomography (CT)

Desired Qualifications

Candidates with experience performing CT scans in a trauma center are highly desired.
