MEDICINE COLLECTION EVENT

~The public is encouraged to drop off unwanted or expired medications~

April 4: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. "Operation Medicine Cabinet" Collection Event 

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, in partnership with the Southern Waste Information eXchange, Inc., Walgreens, FAMU’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, FAMU’s Institute of Public Health, FSU’s Center for Biomedical and Toxicological Research, WTNT 94.9 and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, will hold a collection event for unwanted or unneeded medications.

The event will be held at Walgreens located at 100 E. Magnolia Dr., Tallahassee, FL 32301.
