Everybody is anctiously expceting Christmass and the holidays.... we.... we just hope Today Never Ends so we can have more time....

I'm beginning this campaign for a good friend of mine who has had the worst year of his life.

After being diagnosted last year with cancer, it has been a many months long battle overseas which ended up in huge medical bills that were very little covered by insurance.

All of these have lead to expenses bills topping $25k which were a big struggle to cover and led to a very difficult to climb out of debt.

After 3 surgeries, chemotherapy and hospitalization, he managed to get back on his feet and get his life going.

At the end of the summer luck really hit back hard as when coming home from the hospital, he was involved in an almost fatal car crash on the highway which led to further hospitalization and loosing of his job, income and unfinished projects that had to be refunded.


He was very emabarrsed to seek help himself so I decided to step in and get him some help.

His name is Ioan Pokorny. He is extremely ill, can't afford medication nor to continue his treatment and is days away from loosing his home.

With days in which he is unable to get out of bed, work that has to be completed and delivered, the unbearable daily stress and loosing his house means all hopes gone.  2017 being only a dream to reach.
He would be leaving wife, 85 year old parrents and kids without any hope for life. 

By December 26th he was told to leave his house along with his eldery parrents, wife and kids with no where to go.

All of this because unpaid morgage took to fight the battle with life.

He has NO ELECTRICITY and BARELY ANY FOOD TO FEED HIS FAMILY.

That's why I took the initiative to begin this campaign for him... SAVE HIS FAMILY'S HOME AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

If you have a donation that you can make to help save his home and keep a roof over his families head this would be life changing for him. It's the worst feeling in the world to have to ask someone else for money.


It is literally a life or death situation for him and his loved ones.

The $10.000 would cover:
- Mortgage payment to loan shark and keeping a roof for him and family
- Utilities and bills paid to date 
- Getting trough the holidays and a small time stress-free to be able to focus on the fight with life
- Chemiotherapy and medication for the next 3 months
- Transportation to and from hospital (150 km Timisoara RO - Szeged HU)
- Bare minimum necessities until he and his family can climb back on feet and start from somewhere

All the funds will be directed to Ioan Anton Pokorny.

Buna ziua, ma numesc Pokorny Ioan Anton.

Va rog sa acordati cateva minute si sa imi cititi povestea. Nu as fi recurs la aceasta varianta daca nu era ultima pe care o mai am.

Toata povestea a inceput anul trecut cand am fost diagnosticat cu cancer. Mi-am pierdut de-alungul vietii rude si multi prieteni din cauza acestei necrutatoare boli. Dupa mai multe drumuri in tara la Cluj si in Timisoara, am decis sa merg la Szeged pentru a-mi oferi cea mai buna sansa la viata.

A fost o perioada foarte grea de 10 luni de zile pentru mine, familie, prieteni, carora tin sa le multumesc inca o data pe aceasta cale. Casa de asigurari a acoperit foarte putin din sumele cheltuite care au ajuns sa depaseasca $25.000.

Mi-am epuizat toate resursele financiare proprii si ajutoarele care au venit de la cei apropriati, insa cu ajutorul lui Dumnezeu si a doctorilor minunati am reusit sa inving aceasta necrutatoare boala. Tin sa multumesc inca o data tuturor celor care si-au intins o mare mana de ajutor.

Ultimi ani de zile, dupa pensionare, m-am axat pe freelancing ( https://www.upwork.com/fl/ioanantonpokorny ), unde lucrurile au mers foarte bine si am reusit sa imi asigur un fond pentru o batranete linistita si asigurarea unui viitor fiului meu, Paul ( https://www.facebook.com/PaulPokorny ).

Totul s-a transformat intr-un nou cosmar in August. Pe 22 august in timp ce ma intorceam dintr-o vizita pentru un control de rutina la Szeged, pe A1 (la cativa pasi de timisoara) am fost lovit din spate de un sofer de microbuz care m-a proiectat de pe prima banda in transversala din mijlocul autostrazii si doar o minune a facut ca am scapat cu viata.

A urmat inca o perioada de spitalizare si tratamente care m-au tinut departe de platforma de lucru (upwork) si m-au adus in postura in care sa nu pot finaliza proiectele in termen si sa trebuiasca sa returnez sume mari de bani pe care le incasasem pe parcursul ultimului an.

Pe baza stressului si a problemelor apasatoare din ce in ce mai mari, mi-a recidivat si cancerul iar acum risc sa ajung pe drumuri, neputand sa imi achit banii luati cu imprumut si garantati ipotecar.

Va rog din suflet ajutati-ma sa ma pun pe picioare. Nu as fi facut acest apel daca as mai fi avut vreo alta sansa.
Ajungand pe strada nu voi mai avea nici cea mai mica sansa la viata, iar intreaga familie va fi distrusa, viitorul copilului meu ruinat si datorii care nu vor mai putea fi achitate.
