Jonah Hill as "Mike Finkel" and James Franco as "Christian Longo" in TRUE STORY.

Five ways you can have fun this weekend:

1. The big movies opening this week are “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2,” a PG sequel, also starring Kevin James; “Unfriended,” an R horror movie; “Child 44,” an R thriller; “Monkey Kingdom,” a G documentary narrated by Tina Fey; and “True Story,” an R drama-mystery starring James Franco and Jonah Hill.

2. National Library Week comes to a close Saturday, and many libraries will be having special events through then. Check with the library for information, or just head to the library to check out some books and to see what’s taking place.

3. Saturday is National Golf Day, a day designed to get people on the links and to appreciate the game. If the weather is decent by you, why not head to a course and play a round? It’s the perfect way to welcome spring.

4. Record Store Day also is Saturday. This is a time to visit your local gem, the record store, and support them and buy a few records. And feel free to play some records on this day and listen to music at its finest.

5. The NBA playoffs begin Saturday, and there will be a handful of games then and on Sunday. The NHL playoffs also just kicked off, so there’s plenty of high-stakes action. Also on TV this weekend are MLB and MLS games. Check your TV listings or the Internet for schedules.
