FOR NORTHEASTERN KENT AND CENTRAL DICKENS COUNTIES...
At 1235 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles southeast of Afton to 5 miles west of Girard,
moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...West Texas Mesonet in Spur measured 67 mph at 1217 AM CDT.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
