...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN BENTON...NORTHWESTERN CRAWFORD...WESTERN
WASHINGTON...CENTRAL HASKELL...EAST CENTRAL MCINTOSH...SEQUOYAH...
ADAIR...NORTHEASTERN LE FLORE...SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE AND
SOUTHEASTERN MUSKOGEE COUNTIES...

At 811 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles east of Siloam Springs to 6 miles east of
Adair State Park to near Brushy to 5 miles southwest of Tamaha,
moving east at 35 mph. The most intense portion of the line
extended from near Cincinnati Arkansas to near Brushy Oklahoma.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for southeastern,
northeastern and east central Oklahoma.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
