Pepper Plantation Wedding in Charleston
Today, we’re taking you to the lowcountry in Charleston for Erin and David’s wedding at Second Presbyterian Church and reception at The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation. It was a beautiful spring afternoon for their wedding on April 11, 2015, with a light salty breeze and puffy clouds rolling briskly across the sky.
You may remember Erin’s Legare Waring House bridal portraits we posted a few weeks ago. Her hair and makeup was by Lashes and Lace Charleston. Erin and her bridesmaids got ready at a beach house at Wild Dunes, and she and her dad had a sweet first look together on the porch of the beach house. Then, we drove to Second Presbyterian Church for her first look with David.
Kala with Mod Events was the wedding coordinator and floral designer. She and her team did a fabulous job, and the reception at Pepper Plantation was absolutely lovely! Guests mingled on the porch overlooking a pond with a fountain, and it was a perfect evening for chatting under the hundred of cafe lights draped across the lawn by Nick at Lowcountry Entertainment! Cinematography was by Motion Magic Studios, Snyder Events provided the event rentals, and Fresh Foods Market provided the catering.
Erin and David had the live wedding party band Soul Fish for their reception at Pepper Plantation. These guys were amazing, and kept everyone dancing all night long! Seriously, they’re one of the best live bands we’ve seen! The 4-man wedding party band has been playing together for 10 years with all of its original band members.
