As a Web Designer, you’ll work with a creative team of UX thinkers, copywriters, digital strategists, art directors and developers to concept and create big, beautiful digital brand experiences. You’ll be responsible for translating wireframes into unique visual systems that meet users’ needs and our clients’ business goals. That means creating a lot of different things (websites, apps, banner ads, icons, layouts, logos, infographics, digital campaigns, emails, UI and animations) for a lot of different screens.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing interactive concepts based on insights laid out in the creative brief 
  • Working with UX designer and digital strategists to create thoughtful designs and a fluid user experience 
  • Creating a cohesive style guide that ensures visual elements and behaviors are handled consistently across every screen and interaction 
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure design and functionality shake hands, before and after project launch 
  • Working within timeline and budget constraints 
  • Having fun, asking questions and kicking back on Beer: 30 Thursdays

You’ll need:

  • 2-3 years of industry experience 
  • An awesome portfolio 
  • A passion for ideas, art, design, technology and problem solving 
  • Working knowledge of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, etc. 
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under pressure 
  • Proven experience in responsive/mobile design 
  • Attention to detail, including online and offline production skills 
  • A solid understanding of information architecture practices, UX principles and basic code 
  • The ability to articulate your concepts and ideas to the client and the rest of your team 
  • A collaborative spirit and a good sense of humor 

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
