New wine bar Apt 115 is now open in East Austin on 2025 East 7th Street. The tiny bar, which only has 25 seats, is located in the retail space of the 7East apartment complex, and purposefully decorated to look like someone’s home.

Apt 115 offers a small, curated menu of wine, beer (from six taps or in bottles and cans), sliced meats, and cheeses, though nothing is made in-house. For the price-conscious, the bar offers a $3 beer and a $7 glass of wine every night.

Owner Joseph Pannenbacker told Eater Austin he decided to open Apt 115 after visiting A:part:mental, a bar in Bulgaria with a similar concept. Encouraged by his friend advanced sommelier Paul Ozbrin of Vino Vino, Pannenbacker has built up 60 wine labels, which he hopes to expand to over 400 in the coming months. The bar is managed by Lee Corkran, who was previously the bar manager at Roaring Fork.

Apt 115 is open 365 days a year from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., though Pannenbacker notes they pour until midnight.
