The Unusual Plants Fair at Gilbert White’s House & Gardens is back on the 18th & 19th June. The annual event welcomes stallholders from across the region to selling wonderful plants for your garden. Experts will be on hand for advice and volunteers will be on hand with wheelbarrows to help you get all your green and leafy purchases to your car!
Entrance is £8 for adults and children go free and includes admission to the house and gardens. A perfect Father’s Day treat for all the generations, with plenty to see and do, plus a BBQ and beer from Gilbert White’s House Brewery!
Tickets available on the door only. No tickets available online. Our site capacity is far bigger than our excepted attendance so everyone will be able to get in.

Redmayne Perennials is a small nursery based in St Albans and specialising in a range of reliable and unusual herbaceous perennials grown mainly from seed, with an emphasis on species rather than cultivars and on plants which are good for pollinators.

David and Catherine enjoy sharing their knowledge and expertise with other rose enthusiasts, whether novice or experienced gardeners. They grow not only a choice selection of carefully selected varieties for all situations, but also specialise in fragrant, repeat flowering climbers and big climbing roses for instant impact.

Nursery in Hampshire which produces varieties of palm trees that are hardy to the UK climate, with varieties suitable to the outdoors or inside settings such as conservatories. They also provide pots and fertiliser.
