Reasons the product is recalled
The rattle does not comply with the size and shape requirements of the mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age.
The hazards to consumers
The product may pose a choking or suffocation hazard for young children, which can lead to severe injury or death.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the rattle and destroy or dispose of it. Consumers will need to provide evidence that the product has been destroyed or disposed of. Nested Nurseries will provide a refund for the value of the rattle once this has been provided.
If the product has already been disposed of or destroyed, consumers are asked to notify Nested Nurseries so that the safe disposal of the products can be monitored.
