Grove Dental Group is opening its doors to serve the uninsured Saturday, providing free dental care to patients who would otherwise struggle to get treatment.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the practice, 1286 Penn Ave., Wyomissing. There is no preregistration, and care will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dr. Andrea Ache-Witmer and her staff at Cosmetic & Family Dentistry will also be volunteering their time on the day of service.
The event provides free dental care, including fillings, extractions and cleanings, to uninsured patients and to anyone who cannot afford to visit the dentist.
The dentists typically provide about $30,000 in free services during the event.
