“It’s about a dangerous virus that infects an office building and this virus allows people to lose their inhibitions,” the filmmaker said. “It’s basically cranking all your emotions up to 11. Derek, played by Steven, gets fired that morning, before a quarantine is set in the building, and no one can leave for eight hours. So, being stuck there, having just been fired, and now with this virus coursing through his veins, he decides I’m getting my f–king job back, by any means necessary. It’s a real genre mashup between thriller, and action, and horror, and sci-fi, and even a little bit of satire in it too, which is really really exciting to me.”
