Product description

This recall involves 6 MG Chemicals epoxy products, 5 epoxy kits and 1 dual syringe. The epoxy kits are packaged in a box which consists of a 250 mL resin Part-A container and a 125 mL Part-B container. The dual-cartridge syringe is 25 mL.

Hazard identified

The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging requirements required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Due to the lack of a child-resistant closure, it presents a risk of unintentional exposure, which could lead to serious illness or injury, including death.

As of October 13, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

The company reported that 928 units of the kits and 4085 units of the dual syringes were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected kits were sold from January 2018 to October 2020 and the dual syringes were sold from February 2017 to October 2020.

What you should do
