Our Ministry and Family Entering Exciting New Season!

Summer 2015 has both the Easley family and the Center for Mission Mobilization in an exciting season of transition.  God is up to awesome things around the world as the global Church is ready to be sent into the harvest!  Please see the updates below on how God has been leading and how you can pray for our family and co-workers!

Family Update
Many of you prayed with us about provision of a rental house in College Station.  We're happy to report that in less than a month, we'll be moving (again)! This will be our 9th place to live since 2011, so, needless to say, we are excited about establishing roots in our new town!  Aggieland was our home about 20 years ago, the place we met and began dating, but the little 'ol college town has boomed since then.  We've been told by many that that it's a great place to raise a family and our kids are very excited about living in a familiar place they've grown up loving.

We are so thankful that the Lord has provided three incredible co-workers to join us as we pioneer the College Station team.  We've had long term relationships with all three and know they will have an amazing impact there.  Please pray as we spend our summer recruiting and challenging others to join our work!  We also covet your prayers as we partner with the Northwest Arkansas Field Team to plan the upcoming school year.

Our team of mobilizers will focus our efforts on three key groups: college students, leaders and families.  We will help growing Christians become world Christians, and ultimately pave the way for more laborers across the world.

International Update
The above picture was taken last month, as our Kenya team hosted "the Summer Project" where American mobilizers worked alongside African church leaders and students.  The Center for Mission Mobilization has had an incredible year and we are excited about the vision God has given us for frontier mobilization.  Here's a word from our executive director, Steve Shadrach:

Today, most missionaries are sent from the Western church and South Korea, but 80% of the evangelical Church lives in Africa, Asia and Latin America.  Now is the time to begin transforming these regions that have been traditionally known as mission fields into the next great mission forces!  For the past 30 years, we've focused on mobilizing the American campuses and churches to global missions.  While we're still doing that, the majority of our efforts for the next 30 years will be sending long-term mobilization teams to key gateway cities in 56 strategic countries - countries our researchers have identified as having the greatest potential for impact!  Why?  Because 90% of the global Christian population now lives outside the U.S. and it's their turn to also bring the Gospel to a lost world!

This month the CMM launched three new field teams to eastern Asia and Latin America.  Please pray as they and their families make their own transitions in their new cities.
